3/4" Clamp Dog™
The Seneca Woodworking 3/4" Clamp Dog™ bench dog is a combination bench dog and clamp mounting plate designed for workbenches with 3/4" dog holes. The dog portion allows you to take advantage of the grid of holes in your bench to use as a backstop for clamping or planing or making cuts. The clamp mount portion of the Clamp Dog™ is pre-drilled with mounting holes that allow you to attach either a Kreg Automaxx Bench clamp, or a Bessey Auto-Adjust Toggle Clamp for quick, accurate clamping of your workpiece.
Seneca Woodworking Clamp Dogs are designed with the clamp mount "tangent" to the dog, rather than on center. This "tangent" design, allows the clamp to pivot around the mounting hole, rather than on top of it. This allows more usable workspace on your workbench and also allows the clamps to be positioned at various angles for more effective clamping, while not affecting the positioning of the workpiece.
Machined from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum and anodized black, the Seneca Woodworking Clamp Dogs will give you years of reliable service.
Seneca Woodworking Clamp dogs are intended to be secured under the workbench with the included clamping knob for maximum clamping force. We include hardware for bench tops ranging from 1.25" - 4" in thickness. If your bench top is outside this range please let us know and we'll get you the hardware that you need free of charge.
Included with each Clamp Dog™ are mounting hardware for Bessey Toggle Clamps (Kreg clamps include mounting hardware) and a hand knob to secure it to the workbench
Note: Clamp Dog™ do not include Bessey or Kreg clamps.
