Hey woodworkers! Today I'm going to give you a look at two new products we will be releasing soon for the Festool Domino XL.   The Domiplate Xl, and 5mm/6mm cutters. 

Currently Festool's Domino series of mortising machines are each designed to work with their own size range of tenons. With the Domino DF 500 being designed for 4mm to 10mm tenons in smaller stock, and the Domino XL DF 700 designed for 8mm to 14mm tenons in larger stock.    Our 5mm and 6mm cutters for the Domino XL mean that now users wishing to work with tenons with sizes from 5mm up to 14mm tenons no longer have to purchase both Domino machines. These cutters allow the Domino XL to cut mortises for 5mm and 6mm dominos up to 50mm deep.

Additionally, we have come up with a new version of our Domiplate for the Domino 500 to fit the Domino XL. Dubbed the "Domiplate XL." this fixed fence solution allows the repeatable mortising of 1/2" and 3/4" ply without the worry of fence drift that can happen with the standard adjustable fence.
